Choose Torvela for a sculptural floor lamp beside a sofa, reading chair or bed.
A faceted column, cut into tapering planes like a carved block, rises from a square base and carries a linen-colored fabric shade. Pick a walnut, cream or black finish, a straight drum or a flared empire shade, and either three switchable color temperatures or stepless dimming. A foot switch on the cord turns it on and off.

How tall is Torvela?
Torvela stands 63.8 in (162 cm) tall on a 7.9 in (20 cm) square base.
What is the difference between the Drum and Empire shades?
The Drum shade has straight sides and is 17.7 in (45 cm) across. The Empire shade flares toward the bottom and is 19.7 in (50 cm) across.
Is Torvela dimmable?
Only the Stepless Dimming version is dimmable. The 3 Color Temperatures version switches between three light colors and does not dim.
Is the walnut finish real wood?
No. The body is resin, and the walnut finish is a wood-grain transfer. Cream and black are solid colors.
How do I turn Torvela on?
With the foot switch on the cord. It plugs into a standard US outlet.
Can you send a video of my lamp lit?
Yes. Before shipping, every lamp is lit and checked. If you would like to see yours, ask us and we will send a video of your own lamp, lit, before it ships.
1. Shipping Destinations
Valivelle offers free shipping on every order, to every destination available at checkout. That includes all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and international addresses.

2. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 3–7 business days after the order is confirmed.
Processing time includes order review, preparation, quality inspection, packaging, and handoff to the shipping carrier. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
3. Transit Time and Delivery Estimates
For U.S. orders, estimated transit time after dispatch is 10–15 business days.
For U.S. orders, estimated total delivery is 13–22 business days, including processing and carrier transit. International timing may vary.
Delivery estimates are provided for planning purposes and may vary depending on the shipping address, order size, product availability, carrier capacity, weather conditions, customs processing, and other circumstances outside Valivelle’s control.
4. Shipping Methods
Orders may be shipped by one of the following methods:
- Air freight through UPS or FedEx
- Sea freight through XPO
The shipping method is selected based on the product’s dimensions, weight, fragility, delivery destination, and available logistics service.
5. Customs Duties for International Orders
For approved international shipments, Valivelle covers applicable customs duties.
For international delivery questions, you may contact support@valivelle.com to confirm availability and estimated timing.
6. Shipping Delays
If Valivelle is unable to dispatch an order within the stated processing timeframe, we will contact the customer with an updated estimated shipping date.
The customer may choose to accept the revised shipping date or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund. A cancellation fee will not apply when Valivelle is unable to dispatch the order within the stated timeframe.
7. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of purchase.
Cancellation requests submitted more than 24 hours after purchase, but before the order has been dispatched, are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 5% of the order total.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Eligible items may be returned after delivery in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
